Hi :) You often need stuff like that in accountancy. Clients bank reconciliations, Vat Returns, working papers and cashbooks especially petty cash might be in "pounds and pence" (or equiv) while End of Year Accounts, Reports and stuff are rounded to a "pounds" or even to the thousands or something. Regards from Tom :) ________________________________ From: Johnny Rosenberg <gurus.knugum@gmail.com> To: users@global.libreoffice.org Sent: Wed, 17 August, 2011 9:25:41 Subject: Re: [libreoffice-users] Decimal Point Move 2011/8/17 John D <jjdowney@hotmail.com>:
Can anyone help with Calc. Move Decimal Point from the following: The result in a the cell is 1.23 of which I would like to format the cell to 0.0123
Just of curiosity: Why would you like to do that? Kind regards Johnny Rosenberg ジョニー・ローゼンバーグ
From 1.23 To 0.0123I have tried numerous formats including 0.##"00" but to no avail. How do I move the decimal point in front of the figure 1?
