Hi :)
The 2010 ribbon is far better than the 2007 one but sadly the answer still seems
to be no. There are some interesting plans for a far better UI to leap-frog
over the ribbon and leave it looking old and tired. Last time i asked about the
ribbon people seemed to say it was more likely as an Extension and even then
only if i could get a few devs interested. The new UI is not likely to happen
soon.
Regards from
Tom :)

Subject: [libreoffice-users] Updates on LibreOffice 3.4 Windows
Hi,
I have just installed LibreOffice3.4 on Windows 7 64Bit. Could you let me know
how to enable auto update notification?
I have checked the pages:
http://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Online_Update
http://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Check_for_Updates_1
I can not seem to get to:
You can disable or enable the automatic check in Tools - Options - LibreOffice -
Online Update.
I can get as far as Tools - Options - LibreOffice, but can see no mention of
Online Update
Kind regards
Peter Jones
PS - I know it is a hot topic, but any chance of a switchable Office 2007
Ribbon?
