You didn't know WordPad supports a subset of ODF, huh ? :)
Right click on an .ODT file in Windows Explorer and select Open With on the context menu. Take the
choose default program option, even if LibreOffice Writer is already in the list.
If LibreOffice Writer is in the selections shown as options for the default, make sure the box to
make default is checked, and click on the LibreOffice Writer icon to have it be the default from
now on.
If LibreOffice Writer was not shown in either case above, use the "Open with" panel's Browse button
to go find LibreOffice Writer at Program Files (x86)\LibreOffice 3\program\swriter.exe and double
click on it.
That should do it.

Subject: [libreoffice-users] Double clicking .ODT file opens it in WordPad!
I uninstalled Open Office and installed LibreOffice. Now if I click on a .ODT
file it opens in WordPad instead of Writer. How can I easily fix this for
all LibreOffice apps on Win7 Pro 64 bit? Thanks.
