I'm trying to upgrade from LO 3.3 to 3.4 on a space constrained PCLINUXOS
/root disc. I know I could remove LO 3.3 and then install LO 3.4 from
scratch. However, in APT there is an option:
dir::cache::archives "/home/username/cache"
which gets APT to put the temporary cache anywhere you want it. Is there an
equivalent for LO Manager so I can upgrade rather than remove and reinstall
each time?
No, there isn't, apart from what currently is offered by the Linux distros.
For sure it is on someone's wish-list or in BugZilla.
In stead of removing 3.3.x: you can also install in parallel:

Kind regards,
