hello Bree,
This solution is really stupid but will hopefully save you rebooting
your system to just open the documents(till someone finds a better
way).press ctrl+shift+esc keys,a window called task manager will open up.it
will have various tabs,look up for libreoffice under applications tab,if you
find it highlight it and press "end task".if you dont find it there look
under processes for "soffice",click it and press "end process".
hope this gives u some relief
