Looked at some other distro's:
Mageia beta: green
Natty: red
Lucid: red (via ppa)
openSUSE: has it's own splash screen and loading bar
Just thought I'd mention it.
Green is the theme colour, ain't it.
So I'd like it to be green always.

Thanks for reminding me. When I rebuilt my desktop, the other day, I
forgot to change my theme to one of my saved designs. I just now
changed it to my green motif.
I see the load bar now. Comes with the splash screen. I wonder if it
changes with localized theme colors. Actually, I like green, so I would
not want to change the way it looks.
Also, I wonder why the load bar color is different between OS's. I
should not change if the versions all come from the same source.
It might be using an OS setting for the bar color.
