The "Recent Document" list can be capricious. It is better to use the "Open"
document and then navigate to where the documents are stored.
It can be faster to not even open LibreOffice, just navigate to where the
document is and open it. This 'should' (but might not) open it in LibreOffice.
If it tries to open it in Openoffice then we can help you change that default.

Hi.
What I meant was that in OOO I increased the number of files that showed
in "Recent Documents" by inserting lines and setting PickListSize in
Common.xcu. On my Mac I couldn't locate Common.xcu.
