In OpenOffice, one could

- highlight a slide in the slide pane, press CTRL-C, and insert the
copied slide with CTRL-V - in LibreOffice that doesn't work, rather,
whatever was in the clipboard gets inserted into the currently
highlighted slide in the main central window;
- highlight a slide in the slide sorter, press CTRL-C, and insert the
copied slide with CTRL-V - in LibreOffice that doesn't work, rather,
nothing happens, even if one does copying an pasting with
right-clicks, marks a position between slides etc.

The only thing that works as it should is dragging and dropping the
to-be-repeated slide while pressing CTRL. This is not particularly
intuitive and definitely an unnecessary step down from OpenOffice.
