[libreoffice-users] toolbars - not able to resize-not showing

I am using Writer in LibreOffice 3.3.1  (OOO330m19 (Build:8) tag
libreoffice-3.3.1.2) under Windows 7 Professional 32 bit.


I have created a toolbar with several entries/commands in it , but the
toolbar only shows as a small block. Although I can get the arrows to drag
to resize, no resizing occurs when I do so, it remains a small block.  This
occurs:

I would be very grateful for some help in how to make it appear larger to
show the commands.
