I do no reproduce the problem with LibreOffice 3.3.1 on Ubuntu 10.04
(PPA build) : do you encounter this issue with a particular file or
every files ? ods or xls format ?
Did you try to rename your personal profile (libreoffice directory in
Docs&Settings\<user>\application data\) and restart LibreOffice ?
