Now I have to figure out how to write a macro to select the correct Paste

isn't bad, but the keystroke macro would be ideal.

Do you really think a macro is worthwhile for that? Without a macro,
it´s only three keystrokes maximum anyway:

(1) CTRL+SHIFT+V
(2) type the first character of the desired option, if necessary
(3) ENTER

Yes, this is not much typing effort, but in my view the main
advantage of a macro is it can be connected to a button. Then you
can do a special paste by mouse click without breaking the workflow
while using the mouse. I often miss this function when preparing
Impress slides or copying text snippets from other documents.

True! It would be an interesting challenge as I have not written one in LO
yet and yes, I suppose I'm a little bit of a perfectionist, trying to make it
the most efficient as possible.

If you succeed in writing this macro, please, publish it on this
list. In the past, already several people had asked for it.

Karl
