Thank you Tom. That works for me.
For others:
Note that the macro recorder seems to be an experimental feature. So you
have to enable such features in LO. "Tools > Libre Office > General"
The hotkey(s) can be assigned at "Tools > Customize > [Keyboard] > Category"
