Good evening.
Is there any possibility to get the date format in spreadsheets
synchronized?
My operating system ( Linux and also Windows ) is set to yyyy-mm-dd
The spreadsheet cells must for everey new sheet best to this format.
And still the entry field above the cell - plane shows quite ambigous as
nn/nn/nn which for
backdated entries might look like 03/04/05
Thanks

Hi Wolfgang,
Perhaps this will help?
To enter a date in a cell, use the Gregorian calendar format. For example, in
a (British) English locale, enter 01/02/2002 for 2nd Jan 2002.
All date formats are dependent on the locale that is set in Tools - Options -
Language settings - Languages.
For example, if your locale is set to 'Japanese', then the Gengou calendar is
used.
The default date format in LibreOffice uses the Gregorian Calendar.
Best regards
Dave
