Hello,
I am not referring to the tree feature in Navigator.
If you have a look at the New Features and Fixes page in Libreoffice:
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/new-features-and-fixes/
you can see that there are two buttons on the second toolbar under the menu under the new, open and
save buttons. The tooltip of the first button is "back", so the other one should be "forward".
I cannot activate any of the "back" and "forward" buttons and I cannot figure out how to do it.
It is a very interesting and clever feature, as it works like the forward and back buttons in all
current Internet browsers.
Have a nice day,
V

I installed Libreoffice. Now I am trying to activate the "easier
navigation in writer documents" feature:
I am not sure, but possibly you refer to the feature in the Navigator (menu View > Navigator),
where it is possible to (un)fold headings and nested paragraphs one by one, a so called tree view.
but there is no way to activate the "Back" and "Forward" buttons. I
don't see any menu or option allowing me to do it.
I do not get which buttons you mean with this.
If my suggestion does not help you enough, pls give some clearer description.
Kind regards,
Cor
