Hi :)
If you are using linux, or perhaps BSD or other unix then get to a command-line
and try
ps aux | grep soffice
It will output 1 line for each LibreOffice/OpenOffice process that is running
and each will have a 4 or 5 digit number at the front and a short cryptic
comment at the end. Ignore the line that has "grep" in it's cryptic comment and
kill the other processes. Lets say you get
user 14332 7.8 3.3 192780 69872 ? Sl 17:35 0:01
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice.bin -writer -splash-pipe=5
user 14368 0.0 0.0 3328 796 pts/0 S+ 17:35 0:00 grep soffice
Ok? Ignore process 14368 but kill 14332 by using many people's favourite
command
kill 14332
In Windows or linux you could simply open the task-manager, sort by name and
then click on the soffice process to "stop" or "halt" them but then you miss out
on the rare chance of using "kill" command :(
Either way opening and using LibreOffice should now be fine.
Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
