Salam,
I wonder if your issue is related to this old Ubuntu poppler bug:
<https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/poppler/+bug/151608>
[Evince Document Viewer 2.20.0 fails to read Arabic PDFs]
no, it's not related to this, because :
1- Evince, GIMP on Linux, pdf x-change viewer and acrobat reader on Linux
are viewing my exported PDF correctly both on WinXP and Ubuntu-10.10
2- Both on WinXP and Ubuntu-10.10, LibO-Draw-3.3 + PDFImport extension have
exactly the same problem handling the last chars of the Unicode block
"Arabic Presentation Forms-B"
Well... as I mention previously in the other thread(s), the issue isn't
only with Arabic. Here are screenshots of the issue in Draw that is
English only.
Original PDF page opened in Adobe Reader (linux):

Same page in Draw:
<http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/8026/screenshot2010fgcsifina.png>
Note that on the page, standard spaces are missing between the words.
This only occurs on the pages that use the Calibri font set. Other pages
that use Times Roman, Arial, and Veranda import fine. Note: I do have a
valid/legal calibri.ttf installed on this system - so the font
isn't/shouldn't be substituted.
...
I have already filed an issue on LibO/BugZilla and on OoO-Extensions.
Should i repost my problem on the Dev-MailingList...?
Might not hurt to do so. Just point them to the bug reports and ask if
perhaps anyone is actively working on the extention.
