It is not a problem, just a little grumble. It is easy to work-around with just
a couple of clicks so even if it is in LibreOffice then it should be ignored for
now.
My main point was that the files were fine in OpenOffice 3.2 and so if it is a
problem in LibreOffice the devs might find it easier to pinpoint the problem and
fix the regression. I was hoping to help whoever makes the crashing formats
issue into a bug-report.

Tom :)

Again these worked fine in OpenOffice 3.2 on Ubuntu 10.04
The logo was a bit blocky as gifs sometimes get at too low resolution for the
image size. When i tred to save it OpenOffice defaulted to some strange
hidden
"user gallery" folder inside the OpenOffice config folder instead of in my
Pictures or Downloads folder.
Saving in obscure locations is one of the many reasons i left Windows as linux
generally is a lot more sensible and easier to back-up.

Hi Tom:
We are testing LibreOffice3.3RC4 which is equivalent to OOo3.3RC?. If
you were to test it with the latest LibO version, this would be a better
indicator whether there is a problem or not.
Unless, you are letting us know that you tried it with OOo3.2 to try to
troubleshoot and find the problem.
Thanks for the input.
Cheers
Marc
