Hallo,
I live in Germany but for my work I need Libre Office in English. Would
like to switch from Open Office but so far I haven't been able to
download Libre in American English. I keep getting the German version.
Would appreciate any tips. I'm sure it's quite easy, I'm just missing
something.
Thanks in advance
Richard
Hi Richard:
You should be able to go to: LibreOffice.org, choose the large
"Download" button. You will then be taken to the download page where the
script will try to find the version and language that you need. If the
language is not the one that you need, then, choose the small language
window and scroll down to "en-US - Englihs (US)". You will then be given
just to one version installer called:
"LibO_3.3.0rc3_Linux_x86-64_install-rpm_en-US.tar.gz 164 MB (installer)"
Alternatively, if you already have downloaded and installed LibreOffice,
go to Tools->Options->Language Settings->Language and you can set your
interface and language settings to English (USA) from there.
Cheers
Marc
