Your solution saves my day :)
To select all objects and text in a document starting with a table ;
1. Press Alt-Enter for new page (when the cursor is at the start of the
table)
2. Press Ctrl-A to Select All
3. Press Ctrl-Ins or Ctrl-C to copy
3. Open up a new text document
4. Press Ctrl-V or Shift-Ins to paste
5. Press Ctrl-Home to go to the begining of the document
6. Press Delete (to delete the unnecessary new page)
