* Present:
    + Cedric, Miklos, Caolan, Kendy, Fridrich, Adam, Andras, Cloph, Jacobo,
      Stephan, Markus, Michael M, David T, Eike, Robinson, Kohei, Bjoern

* Completed Action Items
    + Connect moggi with local Frieburg guys (Bjoern)
       + planning required for hack-fests generally.

 * Pending Action Items:
    + need design for copying styles between templates (Cor Nouws/other UX?)
        cf. http://www.mail-archive.com/libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org/msg01658.html
            http://www.mail-archive.com/libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org/msg01663.html
        [ UX hack-fest item for progress ? ]
    + Review patches in the queue (Andrzej)
        [ blocking getting an Android pre-release of this out ]
        [ one reviewed, but not submitted, some non-reviewed changes yet - but at least the updated
          version in Google play - for people who signed up for beta testing.
          Andrzej reviewing & pushing patches, otherwise Cloph to push as is ].
    + Buy an iPhone for testing vs. Dev. budget (Cloph)
        [ UI checked, and testing release in progress ]
    + look into non-functioning 'install' button in update dialog (Kendy / Andras)
        [ Kendy has security concerns around downloading & executing pieces here
          not a trivial fix. Signing / build verification discussion stalled.
          Investigation ongoing. ].
        + Online Help needs update to match current behavior (Help -> Check for Updates -> Help)
             https://help.libreoffice.org/swriter/EXTENSIONS_HID_CHECK_FOR_UPD_DLG

* Release Engineering update (Christian)
    + 4.1.5 RC1 status
        + currently synching to the mirror network -> public after the call
          no negative feedback at the moment
    + 4.2 code freeze / branch status (Christian)
        + scanned the MAB list for critical issues
            + a11y crasher - only in release builds
               + IA2 is experimental (Mst)
            + PDF export loosing images: fdo#72530 (ironic)
            + A couple of font issues, fdo#50855, fdo#77628
        + otherwise MABs are already fixed: install on mac & dep. issue on Linux

* GSoC is approaching (Fridrich)
    + collect ideas https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Development/GSoC/Ideas
        + Many tasks need mentors.
        + Org. Application time is Feb 3rd.
            + would be good to have ideas page presentable by then.
        + need to focus on high quality students & applications (Fridrich)
    + Cedric & Fridrich interested to do the project admin again
    + could we create another page with a grab-bag of ideas with less
      mentoring bandwidth ?
AI: + mentors - prune / remove already done ideas from each side (All)
AI: + create a general ideas page, dis-connected from GSoC (Fridrich)
        + pruning non-mentored tasks to the new page.

* Crashtest update (Markus)
    + new crash-test / data:
        + cf. http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/crashtest/
    + http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/crashtest/2bb1a845a25ca9a39c96f37995453844461aed4e/
        + import crashes pretty good now
        + export still not good
        + validation errors still high unfortunately

* FOSDEM (Kendy)
    + Standard Hotel 'Astrid' bookings to share at:
       + http://www.astridhotel.be/index-en.html
    + Usability hack-fest 2x days after FOSDEM:
       + https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Hackfest/FOSDEM2014#Participants
          + good to register ...

* Certification update (Kendy/Bjoern/Stephan)

* AbiWord import filter (Fridrich)
    + concerned wrt. 4.3 due to new framework changes etc.
    + target it for 4-2-1 as experimental ? (Michael)
       + already part of libwpftwriterlo - hard to make experimental (Fridrich)
       + no problem without the experimental flag (Markus)
           + self contained, import filter, no big danger.
       + no real UI changes, beyond a new filter string (Fridrich)
AI: + "Abiword Document", poke translators (Fridrich)
               + ie. to l10n at global.libreoffice.org
       + 3x volunteers: Markus, Michael, David to review it.

* QA (Robinson)
    + Bugzilla Migration update
       + no update.
    + Need-advice bug list bits ?
       + "Writer no longer uses Text and Background Colours from
          Windows High-Contrast theme for displaying document" (a11y)
         https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=71511 (Bjoern)
       + " Any >>= operator and typelib_TypeClass_ENUM" (Stephan to poke)
         https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=64394

    + All Most Annoying Bugs -> priority Highest (Bjoern)
        + all non MABs at priority Highest -> to priority high.
        + concern that people will just up their priorities (Michael)
            + no mechanism to stop people re-prioritising bugs.
        + currently have fewer bugs in priority highest than MABs (Bjoern)
            + not changing the MAB dependencies yet.
        + will un-subscribe the dev-list from MAB, change, and re-subscribe
          so only 2x mails to the dev list.
            + prepare for some spam if you're subscribed directly.
