File List from North American disc project - LibreOfficeBox 3.3.1

Howdy,

Noticed, via the discuss@de list that LibreOffcieBox image had been updated
to 3.3.1 and was being reviewed. Just looking over there now, it seemed like
a good moment to start this mail list.

A group of people, mostly one of those people, has been assembling files for
a distribution DVD, affectionately referred to as the NA disc. Tim Lungstrum
supplied the disc image to start and has steadily updated over the last
couple of weeks.

So - the public review working space, is found here:
http://www.lungstrom.com/libreoffice-dvd-project/LibreOffice-disc-North-American-DVD/module.html

It is a rather straight forward layout (you've seen it before) and Tim was
good enough to supply an inventory of the files, taken earlier today.

Maybe you want to grab the icons used for the NA DVD, for the Modules page
at least, in the Box? (if so they are the image files starting with LibO
[creative naming huh?])

Adios,

Drew

Looks familiar, somehow

Familiar! - you aren't looking closely enough lean forward :-/

BTW just went by the dev.libobox / modules page, looks good - guess that was
a cache issue, hope it was for whoever made the iso.

so - I thought you guys on the Box team were planning on the French version
for the next piece of work. Version meaning with all the trappings of label
art, cover art and the like. That made sense to me, given the more active
market in Europe. I saw where you asked about the French project status, or
a contact I think, that was not directed to us on the US list, correct?

Thanks much

I know about the multilingual approach on the NA DVD - Sophie shortly
mentioned another (?) french team working on a 'french' CD?
Is there? That´s what I wanted to get clear... maybe I took something wrong.

As mentioned before, we´re planning to move the whole construction to
another server and setting up Silverstripe similar to the homepage.
By the time all NL teams should be able to assemble and kick off their
discs into the mirroring and torrent-tracker close by.
So I try to collect some basic infos for sort of an initial cms
configuration.

We´re also working on the server management for a lot of new people will
need access and certain permissons...
to shed some light on 'the next project' ...
Each NL team needs the possibilities to manage it´s appropriate content.

In between we try to release a disc too :-o and sometimes overlook
some icons...

Have a nice one,

cheers
Erich
