indeed, sounds a lot like that - we also get several of these mails per year. I'd ignore it.

Hey Florian . . .

I see some scams, but none like this, if it is a scam. To be honest, the set of emails do not ask me to pay anything or do anything.

The scam about asking me to renew my domains with their service is meant for those who do not remember how much it actually costs.

$80 vs. $10 - no brainer. Since I have all my domains, and hosting for them, are with the same company. I also have auto renewal notifications. Plus, I have them auto renew is I miss the renewals, or am in the Hospital, taken care of.
