I've not had any real experience in the field, so "no bad habits to
unteach" here!

Honestly, I like working on a small budget - more space to be creative and
optimize (I'm a sucker for a problem of optimization).

If there are any projects that may be of special interest, please, by all
means, point me at them!

What kind of cultural changes are you referring to?

First, marketing is not a zero budget game, while free software
marketing is mostly a zero budget game (so far, this has scared all
people with a marketing background). Second, free software is based on
strong ethical principles, which are part of the entire solution, and
cannot be overlooked (as they often are for proprietary solutions).
Third, free software is based on the community, and the community is a
nightmare for enterprises (and the entire value chain is based on the
fact that the enterprise controls everything), because there is not
someone who rules but only someone who leads.

Rather a strong departure if you have worked in the enterprise world
and/or in large consultancies targeting the enterprise. I have worked at
Honeywell Corporation (Executive VP Marketing) and at Fleishman Hillard
(Executive VP High Technology), and I have had to adapt myself to this
new environment to become productive (and add value).
