I was wondering if the "beta testers" think 4.0.0.2 is ready for creations of a DVD ISO file to be used for events like SCALE.

SCALE is in less than a monthand if they want to have a 4.0.0.2 DVD from the NA-DVD project, I would like to know if it is ready, or is there going to be a 4.0.0.3 version for next weeks release. I can download the 4.0.0.2 install files and create the DVD this week, before the release, and maybe it could be online for that release push to the mirrors and appear on the "http://www.libreoffice.org/download/?type=box&version=4.0.0"at the time of the release.

[pardon if my words are not working right. it is 3:42 in the morning for me]

So is LO 4.0.0.2 ready to make a DVD, or will there be a 4.0.0.3 version released?

I just want to get the DVD ready for the "official" release announcement, like it just happened for the 3.6.5 release. I have just uploaded that .iso file to a server waiting for it to be pushed to the mirror server system so it will be on its download page. That should be done withing a few days, depending on the "pushcycle".

I just want to make sure the NA-DVD 4.0.0 DVD will be ready for SCALE, if the people who are manning its boothwant to have the choice of 3.6.5 and 4.0.0 DVDs to work with. I have not had any "official" notice that they will be using the NA-DVD project's DVD for the booth, but one can hope. I just know that there must be a lead time for whatever disc will be handed out at the SCALE booth.

Also, for anyone who wantwould like to use the NA-DVD project DVD as the start of their own DVD project, I welcome it. It should be easy for a web page editor to redesign the theme and pages to fit their needs and remove the NA-DVD info from the HTML pages.

NOTE:
The DVDs now have the DVD label in the Artwork page. That way people will be able to print the NA-DVD label onto the media, if they have a printer that prints on DVD media.

ALSO, each page on the main menu has a link to the LO donation page. That want the users of the DVD will be able to go directly, via a link on it, to the LO donation web site page.
