As I don't know in what form additions or modifications are expected on this wiki page, I am writing to the list. As at present we have an Indian Government supported project to promote FOSS, we can contribute to the ongoing marketing effort in the following two ways:

1. Our artists can help create the artwork, required for banners, brochures, etc. We use GIMP. Because of the distances, however, it is not clear how effective this will be.

2. If ever there is a marketing effort by mailing CDs, we can participate in it by sending free CDs within India. Please note that many people in India do not have access to good bandwidth and hence depend on such offline promotional material. It will not, however, be possible for us to send the CDs overseas, although, it may be possible to send one or two bulk mailings.

Regards,

Kannan

I will be adding the result of the other mailing lists in the next day or less.

Cheers,
