This came up while working on a snapshot test of a DVD.

After you have a cover for the 5.25" by 7.5" DVD cases, what about the inside space for an insert page or booklets.

This is a great marketing tool for the Movie DVDs. They either use it to give information about the movie, like chapter titles, or use it for advertising for other movies they offer.

How about making an insert letting people know what LibreOffice is all about. You have limited space on a DVD cover to do this. You could place the names of the modules and what they do. You could add the TDF and LibreOffice web site URLs and any other information that would not have enough room for on the front or back covers of the thin DVD cases.

I would love to see a good looking insert for the distribution DVD that the project I am working on is going to have sometime soon. The LibreOffice-Box has a beautiful green cover, but I saw no reference to a insert for the inside of the case. The potential for LibreOffice information is too good of a reason not to have an included insert page or booklet for the DVDs that are in the cases. Even the CD jewel cases have clips for a small insert. This space should be used.

Is there any graphic artists out there who would be willing to create an insert for use by all of us who want to hand out LibreOffice DVD, whatever the format? English, German, Spanish, French, or whatever language the cover shows, have a matching language insert that make the best use of the space, and gives the best information about LibreOffice as we can give to our users, who will be given these DVDs.

What do you think about that idea?
