Hello Everyone,

A few days ago, I wrote about a small computer store here in my town
that was thinking about offering LibO instead of MSO to customers who
buy new computers from them. I met with the owner and we've worked out
a deal that I think is fair:

1. The store will install LibO on new computers it sells to their
customers. They will pay us $25 per users for support.

2. We will provide support and a mirror where users can download the
source code to LibO (or we might just point them to the main LibO
repository).

While the store would not tell me what they were paying per copy of MSO,
from the reaction of the owner when I said $25, it must have been
substantial.

We're meeting again on Monday to sign papers to finish the deal. Is
there anything specific (requirements from TDF, etc) that I need to know
or cover before we do?

Thanks,
Anthony

Just for information, what kind of support do you offer to these customers? I am wondering what incentive there is for the small computer store to pay $25 per user for your service rather than simply download the official version from the website and install it by themselves.

Regards,

P.S. I am not getting into that business anyway.
