Beer/coffee mats are great, affordable & usually made from recycled paper, so that fits the bill. I had some company-branded chocolate at the conference, which proved to be a bit of a hit - with Belgium being somewhat of the world's hub for fine chocolate, perhaps that fits the bill (and could be sourced locally)?
