3pm EDT. I can try to lurk on.
I haven't used irc in over 5 years. Is there a web-based application?
Yeps -- there's a web-based IRC client for Freenode:
http://webchat.freenode.net/
And how do I get on the channel/node?
If instructions are somewhere, I will read them.
On the web-based client you'll want to
1) choose a nickname (something unique -- so you don't try to take
someone's registered name),
2) Use "#libreoffice-mkt" for the channel
3) Fill in the CAPTCHA
..and that should be it.
If you'd like to test out the web client ahead of time, feel free to
hop over to the #libreoffice-qa sometime tonight and say hi (if you
say my nickname "colonelqubit", my chat client will notify me...)
Cheers,
