I have seen banks in the US do similar things when their algorithm spots
potentially suspicious activity. My guess is they saw a charge from
Germany come through and flagged it. The good news they appear to alert
even if it sometimes annoying.
Yeah, it's no big deal. Just tell the bank all is well. They contacted
me after I donated from my commercial credit card.
