Hello everyone,
This topic was brought up several times and the last time it was on the
discuss list.
We ought to have some easy, official footer for everyone who supports
us.
How about "I use LibreOffice and OpenDocument Format" ?
If you notice, my signature has "mycompanyname Supports
http://www.LibreOffice.org" and I also have put this on my website
footers (I have several). I prefer the word "support" as the word itself
implies that you are already using LibreOffice but that you are actually
going one step further by supporting the whole project as well as the
product.
Best,
Over the last 2 years, we have had discussions of this, but mostly from
the point of view a "logo" for outside use with a subline.
Here is one thread that has some elements of what you are looking for:
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.documentfoundation.libreoffice.design/4294
Here is a link with proposed external banners but with "slogan-type" text:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/External_Banner_728x90
Here are our QR banners:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Design/Whiteboards/External_web_banners
I have all of these items on my list of things to do ... cataloguing
these properly so that we do not lose them in the mountain of wiki
pages. They will eventually make their way to our "Marketing and Design
Elements ..." wiki page.
Cheers,
Marc
