For those who are interested, I am also working the same clipart collection
into a format that will work for LibreOffice, but it means cataloguing some
100,000 svg images into theme folders; the present images are catalogued
according to authors. I hope to have it ready in a month or two.It will
pretty well be "drag and drop" into the "gallery" folder for easy access on
the "Gallery" menu and there will be hints on how to trim the gallery items
if there are too many of these.
A few of the people who stopped to chat at our booth at SCALE said
they really wanted an easy way to import many folders of clip art at
once. I couldn't remember if there was such a way or not; and if so,
what it is. Drag-and-drop sounds perfect, especially if a bunch of
folders can be added in one action.

Yeh, I also submitted a feature report on this just a week or two ago.
My students have always complained of the lack of reasonable cliparts on
the Gallery.
This should fix the problem.
Cheers,
Marc
