Good day/night/morning/evening/whatever to everyone.
My name is Károly Papp (call me Karesz), and I've been asked to join this
list by daniel.armando.rodriguez, so I am here. :)
Can someone give me a deeper insight about what to do? (currently reviewing
the Wiki section however some information about current projects could be
useful)
Best regards
K
We really could use as many good marketing ideas as we can come up with.
With the new 4.0 line and new web portal frontend, there are a lot of
new things to help with.
The design and marketing teams have come up with the new opening portal
design, which still is being modified to make it look better. This is a
"group project" relying on many ideas from many people around the
globe. People in Europe could have different ideas than those in North
America or South America. Same for the other regions of the globe.
Themore ideas the better.
There are localized marketers that do not know much about marketing.
There are those people who need there ideas "fleshed out". There are
many many things that need more people to figure out the best ways of
doing the marketing for LibreOffice.

I am not really a marketer, but this is what I do to help, besides
giving my ideas. . . . . .
I produce the North American Community DVD Project.
http://libreoffice-na.us/English-4.0-installs/install.html
yet Iam not a good marketer. So I let people know that you can download
the DVD's ISO file thathas its contents shown on the web site.
The 3.6.5 version of the DVD is shown online at
http://libreoffice-na.us/English-3.6-installs/dictionary.html
but its DVD .iso file is located at
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/?type=box&version=3.6.5
The 4.0.0 DVD will soon be located at
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/?type=box&version=
<http://www.libreoffice.org/download/?type=box&version=4.0.0>4.0.0
<http://www.libreoffice.org/download/?type=box&version=4.0.0>
but it is waiting for the mirrors to get it first before it is displayed
there.
I give out copies to local groups, businesses, and individuals, but that
is as far as I "market it".
