Could we take a look at this particular bug? I am at a loss as to where
we could mention this on the installation page; or how to write it in.
We would have to avoid using a screenshot as we would have to match the
ones that are on that page.
The download page mentions all packages and even reads " You need to
download and install these files in order: "
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/
Indeed updating the help pages on the various OS-versions with screen
shots is difficult.
So I would suggest to either mention the separate help packages once on
top here
http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/installation/
or mention it on the separate OS pages and referring to the already
explained procedure for the main installation.
Would that make sense?
Yes. Actually, I would rather put it at the top of each OS section
rather than on the installation page itself. I think it would look
strange to have it sitting there.
I am wondering about the text. How about:
A reminder that, in addition to the "Main Installer", you will have to
download the "LibreOffice built-in help" packages which are separate
from the Main Installer.
Does this sound like would create more confusion? It almost feels like
we would need to add a reason as to why the help files are not included.
Cheers,
Marc
