TDF has also a group at XING, a famous business network here in Germany (comparable to LinkedIn). However, that group, available at, is rather inactive.

In order to not spread our discussions on too many channels, fostering collaboration on the mailing lists, I tend to completely close the XING group.

Before I do that, I'd like to hear your opinion on that. While Google+, Facebook and others are a good way to reach out to people, there are not so many members in our XING group, although we advertised it several times.

Any objections that I inform the group members about closing down soon, pointing them to our mailing list?
