Of course 1 major difference between mine and your original is that mine is fairly appalling
whereas yours was excellent. I really don't have much skill with this sort of thing. Png is a
nice format tho :)

I don't think the screenshot I posted did show some broken banner
Also I don't know what you mean with a "slightly squished banner" -
could you do a screenshot/mockup to illustrate where you'd put it?
