We are not talking of a button change or any changes to the page other
than making a slight change to the wording on the page to help users
decide on their download version. Leaving the default to the latest
version is no problem.
Ah yes, as I wrote this morning (or was it yesterday evening ...) I'm
perfectly fine to look at improving the wording there.
I've to wait for Christian or Erich first I guess, to find out how it works.
It is an artificial distinction to talk about 'stable' and 'in
development' here.
For the non stable we have the pre-releases and the dailies.
Those terms were only used for this discussion and not suggested for the
wording change.
OK, sorry that I picked up a wrong idea. However of course I do not
agree so much to use that terms in our discussion. It seems a real
misunderstanding that 3.5.1 of 3.5.2 is not as good as 3.4.5 or 3.4.6.
Of course there are specific bugs that annoy certain processes.
Therefore have the page about the release policy, explaining how it
works, and what is wise.
Cheers,
