[libreoffice-marketing] ubuntu Global Jam 2012 - Allegheny Mountain Jam - March 10th

Howdy,

A couple of days ago I sat in on one Jono Bacon's (Ubuntu) on-line
conference (video) calls - in the call he challeged folks to put
together a meet-up type event for the following weekend - yes, really
even with only 7 days notice - Just do it!

Well, made the calls to reserve some space - good to go. The first
Ubuntu Allegheny Mountain Jam, Cumberland MD - March 30th 2012.

[It's a week long - but is the best I could do...]

Folks can register to come, or just show up, but it would be cool if you
want to come, or want to try...if you would update the event record at:

Cumberland's a great weekend retreat - if you are in Baltimore,
Washington DC, Pittsburg PA it's less then a 3 hour drive to the eastern
continental divide.

Bring you laptop, your android tablet or that desktop in your pocket -
your phone.

I'll have a couple of pressed discs with the full LibreOffice-NA DVD
image, recently finished up by Tim L. 
- also available for download from (http://libreoffice-na.us) 

Will bring the latest LibreOffice On-Line 3.6 build, as a binary on an
OpenSUSE 12.1 server VM.. can poke at that.. 

I don't have an actual Android device to bring BTW...so I'm hoping some
folks making the trip will correct that... ;-)

Also put together a presentation, via Google docs, to use as an on-line

Get together - say hello- look at the latest packages from Ubuntu- take
a peak at LibreOffice On-Line- have a hot cup of coffee, or cold
beer[Yes - it's off by a week - oops]
