Hi :)
Seems like an excellent plan.  A friendly invite rather than a formal 
instruction might get good results especially as the formal invite happened 
quite a while ago.  So, an informal follow-up is due around the next few days i 
guess :)

Hello,

as the Hackfest is IMHO a very important event for us, helping our objective to 
get new developers involved, I am thinking about sending out another short 
information that there are still free seats, to the announce@tdf list.

Just a short note, no formal PR.

Any thoughts or objections? Otherwise I would do so over the weekend.
