Hi :)
I think it's fine to have the slight differences there. In some contexts we
need to show the continuity of the project and in other contexts we need to show
that this is time for a fresh start.

Regards from
Tom :)

Subject: [libreoffice-marketing] inconsistent boilerplate

Hello,

this has been pointed out a few times on the lists, and I just verified myself
- we have inconsistent boilerplates.

Press Release:

"The Document Foundation has the mission of facilitating the evolution of the
*OOo* Community into an open, meritocratic and democratic organization. An
independent Foundation is a better reflection of the values of our
contributors, users and supporters, and will enable a more inclusive,
effective, efficient and transparent community. TDF will protect past
investments by building on the achievements of the first decade, will encourage
wide participation within the community, and will co-ordinate activity across
the community."

Meta-Tags of TDF: "The Document Foundation has the mission of facilitating the
evolution of the *LibreOffice* Community into a new, open, independent, and
meritocratic organization over the next few months. An independent foundation
is a better reflection of the values of our contributors, users and supporters,
and will enable a more effective, efficient and transparent community. TDF will
protect past investments by building on the achievements of the first decade,
will encourage wide participation within the community, and will co-ordinate
activity across the community."

Bullet Points at TDF: "It is an independent self-governing meritocratic
Foundation, created by leading members of the *OpenOffice.org* Community." and
"It continues to build on the foundation of ten years' dedicated work by the
*OpenOffice.org* Community."

Shall we unify these?

Florian
