Hello,
This web site is not an official website endorsed by the Document
Foundation; and I believe your right to use for business the LibreOffice
trademark has not be granted to you.
I was changing the logo because I realized the page looked like an official
LibO page.
It's changed.
Not only do I find a discussion about a private business to be quite
(inappropriate) spelling error
unappropriate on this list, but I would also like Dave Johnson to take
down
this website immediately, at least not to use the LibreOffice name .
I cannot take the page down. I did change the logo.
The Document Foundation may not have defined a clear trademark policy yet
but it would be wise to ask before hand.
http://www.uspto.gov/trademarks/index.jsp According to the US Patent ands
Trademark Office LibreOffice is not a registered trademark. Better hurry.
We're in the process of registering this in the US.
I think your tone is rude. I am not making a dime from offering a
professionally manufactured DVD and giving the TDF $1.50 USD donation per
unit. This is just the kind of thing that I would expect from Oracle. I am
just trying to help spread the love of LibreOffice. Maybe you should change
the name to EncomberedOffice or Not-so-free-if-you-want-to-helpOffice.
Dave if you don't make a buck out of it then you're indeed losing money and
energy. If you're interested in distributing or managing the distribution of
CD/DVD then let's talk about it here. But please don't set up websites in
the blue like this.
Thanks,
Charles.
Thank you,
No.... Thank you

Just FYI... The DVD will be professionally manufactured with a color
printed face and printed insert.

Comments are welcome.
How can you sell LibreOffice on a DVD, when it has not been released
yet???
