Hi guys, :-)

I just wanted to say a thanks for having listened to my ideas on the
ConfCall on Tuesday, and for having explained your own viewpoints. It
was interesting, and it was also a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
Like I said during the call, I'm going contact some graphic artists
myself; after reading Bernhard, notably, in this thread, I have a much
clearer idea about how you want collaboration to be organized. Thanks,
also, Bernhard, guys, for your time and patience in answering my
questions. ;-)

I would also suggest that all the artists who have contributed on the OOo Art
list over the years but who have given up through frustration be contacted as
well. Nikash, Cris Driga, Nicu just a few examples. (although Nicu has been
hard out with Fedora and Openclipart.)

Bernhard's summary is excellent, the one thing that I would perhaps emphasise,
because it was the most glaring omission by outsiders in the past was
subscribing and communicating on the maillist. As long as people are open to
collaboration with the community, then I see only benefits.

cheers

ps excuse my infrequent posts, I'm down to typing with only my left hand at
the moment.
