For the moment, let's use the general marketing list.

No, no, a thousand times no.

Being a professional marketer since 1981, I have been the strongest
supporter of geography based marketing lists inside the OOo project, and
I have had several discussion with Sun people about their total lack of
understanding of basic marketing principles.

Sun people were so smart that they ended up not even greeting me at
meetings, because I did criticize their marketing approach.

I have supported the idea of geography based marketing lists for TDF
since the first draft of the marketing strategy, back in february.

The US marketing list has been created last Saturday, and my message was
just meant to avoid discussions on the opportunity of such a list (which
was already decided even before the first request).

I am subscribed to the list to offer support, if necessary, from the
marketing group at TDF.
