***The call for papers for the first LibreOffice Latin America
Conference is now open***
*The call for papers extends until May 13 through the site of the event.*
The first edition of the LibreOffice Latin America Conference will be
an event aimed at sharing experiences and knowledge.
The programming of the event will include several topics related to
the project such as development, documentation, translation and
quality control, as well as topics related to the ecosystem, such as
success stories and open standards.
You can also be part of this historic edition. The organizing
committee will receive work proposals for the composition of the
program until May 13, 2019.
Authors may submit original papers related, but not limited, to the
following topics:
Cases of migration to LibreOffice
Standard OpenDocument Format (ODF)
Community & Ecosystem
Resources & functionalities of LibreOffice
The talks will be presented in the auditorium of the Polytechnic
Faculty of the National University of Asuncion. The duration of the
presentation should be 35 minutes. The authors of the approved talks
will be notified by e-mail as of May 15 and the publication of the
preliminary programming grid will be carried out on May 20.
The LibreOffice Latin America 2019 Conference will be held in
Asunción, Paraguay, on July 19 and 20. The event is free and
registration will be open from June 1st.
