Hi again,

Well, I've fixed the issue. We upload all the files and it seemed that
there were some errors in some of them. Now this has been solved and
everything seems correct in Pootle.
https://translations.documentfoundation.org/ca_XV/

Andras, the corrected translation will be included on LibreOffice 3.6.3?

Thanks!

Pau

Hi Andras,

I'm going to try to see what's happening here. In case I can't solve it,
would you be able to restore the initial files (in English I mean)?

Thanks,

Pau

Hi Pau,

Please double check files that you have in Pootle. I don't know, if
you are translating online, or you are using offline tools and upload
the results. But is seems your files are not in order. Total wordcount
is 85038, while other languages have 91729.

Best regards,
Andras

Hi Andras,

We have been checking the Catalan (Valencian) translation and even
though no
errors were reported, we have found that the interface has a lot of
English
strings (top menus, descriptions...).

I'm trying to find out how this has happened when previous LibreOffice
Catalan (Valencian) versions were completely OK.

Any idea on this?

Thanks!

Pau

Hi,

Please find the error logs at the usual place:
http://dev-www.libreoffice.org/l10n/errorlog/

However, our process has changed a bit. I will not correct fatal help
translation errors in git myself any more. A new piece of code has
been developed, that checks for such errors build time before merge,
and will not merge strings with errors. See
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52246.

So, if you wrote for example <emph/> instead of </emph>, did not close
a tag, etc., that segment would be rejected, and English original
would be used in translation. I'll work on translator-friendly error
reports later. For now, please check Pootle tests, at least xmltags
when you translate help.

Best regards,
Andras
