Hi,

At this moment, the locale code of the Catalan (Valencian) translation
is «ca-XV». But Windows and Linux use the locale
ca-es-valencia/ca@valencia/ca-valencia. The result of this is that
neither Windows nor Linux can detect the language and LibreOffice is
shown in English by default, even if the system has the locale set as
«ca».

To solve this, we asked OpenOffice developers to implement the BCP47
standard that adds support for this code variations. It seems that is
something kind of difficult. But... can we work something out? Could
it be possible that, for example, if the system locale is set to
Catalan and we install the Catalan (Valencian) language pack (not the
«Catalan» one) then the LibreOffice appears in Catalan (Valencian)?
(I'm not sure how to explain this).

Thanks!

Pau
