Dear 庄颖,

Great to see new translator interested in contributing to LibreOffice!

As the only active translator on the zh-CN team, I am glad to review
your suggestions, and once you have proved your abilities, give my
endorsement for you to get direct editing privileges.

For simplified Chinese, the only actively maintained part is the UI
translation, and the website and online help haven't had a translator
for years. You are free to pick any part you like (including improving
the UI translation). Unfortunately there isn't much written document
for terminology, and my only requirement is not blindly using machine
translation / LLM AI result for translation. You can send me an email
(or use other common instant messaging software popular in China)
if you have questions.

Kind regards and good luck,
Ming

 Dear LibreOffice Localization Team,
I am a native speaker of Simplified Chinese and have JLPT N2 in Japanese.
I have registered on the LibreOffice Weblate instance with the username KujouShiori. I would
like to help with translating user interface and help strings, reviewing suggestions, and
improving terminology consistency. I can contribute approximately 3–5 hours per week.
Could you please let me know how I can join the relevant localization teams, obtain
translation/review permissions if appropriate, and access the style guides and terminology
resources? I would also appreciate any guidance on the preferred communication channels for the
Chinese and Japanese teams.
If there are existing coordinators for zh-CN and ja, please feel free to forward this message to
them.
Thank you for your time and for your work on LibreOffice.
 Best regards,
 Kujou Shiori
