Hi all,
There will be a link to Ask bot in the About menu that will default to
the En ask bot in case there is no in your language:
see here:
https://gerrit.libreoffice.org/#/c/27028/
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96015
Small correction: the Help menu, as in Help -> Questions & Answers...
I requested that that l10n team should be able to hide the links but
that was silently ignored ;)
e.g. French language Q&A will open french Apache OpenOffice forums at
your request.
At the moment, if the askbot website for the language does not exist,
the patch will go to a 404 page.
It may stay like that or the L10N teams either tells us to open /en/
askbot or give us another link to open.
Current LibreOffice askbot languages available (# of questions):
Arabic (4)
German (642)
English (16,910)
Spanish (478)
Croatian (2)
Italian (184)
Japanese (77)
Korean (20)
Portuguese (984)
Romanian (12)
Please if that make a problem for your language, give feedback in this
thread. Thanks :)
Cheers
Sophie
Indeed. We want to widen the reach of assistance for the user. Expect an
increase of ask traffic in your language.
