You could have created Frisian files on your system and then upload them.
Not entirely sure what you mean. If this is a new feature rather than a bug
It's changed behaviour - so removed feature if you want...
(Mozilla's instance of Pootle still seems to have working template updating,
Indeed, so they're using an older version of pootle - pootle itself
doesn't update against newer templates anymore, this has to be done on
the commandline/manually.
I'll ask anyway) is this documented somewhere (the command line process and
how the manual creation works)?
for new projects it is running pot2po
http://docs.translatehouse.org/projects/translate-toolkit/en/latest/commands/pot2po.html
(or if there is existing translations maybe pomigrate2)
At the moment, it seems that you are the
only one (at least on this list) who knows how to handle this, which can be
a bit of a stumbling block.
Nah, creating po files from pot files is pretty standard - it is just
that you have to do it yourself now, and pootle doesn't do it anymore.
I am one of the few with direct shell access to the pootle server, but
using the pootle server isn't necessary (as you could upload files)
ciao
