Va ’alaikum assalām,
Sab ṭhīk hai? The permission panel is nothing you need to adjust for
yourself. If there are more people on your Urdu team than yourself, this
is where you can give individual users specific permissions to do things.
For example, say two people called Sifr0 and Lākh have signed up on
Pootle. Before they can do anything on the Urdu project, you (cause
you're the admin) must select them in the dropdown and choose which
permissions they have. Usually, you will want to choose Can review/Can
submit/Can view and suchlike for the users. You can select more than one
by pressing Ctrl while clicking.
I'd say it's safe enough to give rights down from the "Can review
translations" permission. Careful about giving admin rights or the right
to overwrite.
So, in a nutshell, as long as it's just you, you can ignore permissions.
Once people join the team, you need to give them rights via the panel.
Cheers,
Michael

Assalam o Alaikum friends...
I am the admin for URDU language, but I am feeling difficult to understand
the purpose and correct method of use of the permission panel of my account.
Here are my questions...
1- Purpose of pemissions?
2- How to use them efficiently?
3- Is it a "must" to define permissions or this panel can just be neglected?
4- Any other useful tips and tricks?
Regards...
